Update on GLAAD OUTAuction 2007

So the event was hugely entertaining. My partner and I schmoozed and drank free booze while enjoying the great artwork. My piece was bought by a generous bidder for $1000!! Amazing! I never thought it would go for so much. Two boys were fighting back and forth with the silent auction bid card up until the very end. I am happy I could do something that gave money to a good cause.

New Piece For "Postcards from the Edge" NSFW

Postcards from the Edge is a fundraiser for Visual AIDS here in NYC. The show is hung with over a thousand donated postcard sized works from emerging and established artist. All artwork is signed on the back, is not labeled, and sells for $75. Great cause and should be a fun show!

I am trying to be better about how many penises I put on the opening page of my blog these days so hence the links. I need to look at putting a big warning page on the front. With a name like queer on paper you would think folks would have an idea of what they are getting though...



This is the second year I have donated something to GLAAD. I wish there were more opportunities to give back to queer organizations with art. Check out how it went last year ------->here
