This is Bacon's final triptych from 1991. He died a year later. This was part of a show at MOMA highlighting paintings in the collection from 1965 to the present. I have always been a fan of Bacon's since I really knew what art was. I am considering a tattoo of his work. If it can be done, Chops at Hold Fast in Brooklyn can do it. I may get it as a happy graduation present to me when I am done with school in May...
